Everyone has heard of the Natural History Museum – but did you know there are more than 250 geological collections across the UK?
We’re all a bit in love with this photo, via @historyinpics. It’s very hard to look at without humming the Jurassic Park theme tune in your head. If anyone out there has more pictures of bizarre things being delivered to museums, or dinosaurs flying over cityscapes, we’d love to be alerted to them.
A couple of months ago, we reported on a unique specimen of Nanotyrannus, locked in combat with a Triceratops, which was going up for auction in New York. Tomorrow, the auction is taking place!
